We should keep in mind that, in order for our prayer to
have a real effect, it has to be preceded by watchfulness.

"But remember, prayer without watchfulness
accomplishes nothing; be watchful, be in
alert and your prayer will be powerfull and
efficient.
The Forerunner

"The Lord says: 'It is not enough to pray if
there is not watchfulness, because if you
pray and then you lay to sleep, the enemy
could surprise you while in your sleep'. Be
watchful and pray."
The Guardians

"In order for ectasy to be perfect,
previously you must pass through
watchfulness, as the righteous men of past
times did. This is why Jesus taught you these
things in the Second Era..."
The Third Testament

It is not in vain that the phrase "Be watchful and pray" is
repeated constantly by the Father in many of His teachings
delivered in this Third Era.

"Be watchful and pray, I repeat frequently,
but I do not want you to familiarize yourself
with this gentle advice, rather that you
study it and put it into practice."
The Third Testament

When the Lord talks about watchfulness, He is not referring to
anything material, as many seem to understand it in some
religions.

No, the watchfulness to which the Father refers, is something
very spiritual. Why is so important to be in watchfulness?

"In order to triumph over all trials, do what
the Master has taught you: Be watchful and
pray, so that you may always be alert and not
be surprised by temptation."
The Third Testament

Just as a good parent watches over the wellbeing of his family,
by staying alert to any noise in the night so that the thief or
the rapacious wolf do not penetrate inadvertedly into the
family dwelling, in the same way we must be constantly watching
over, both in mind and spirit, not only for ourselves and for
those that are blood related to us, but for all of our
brothers, both incarnated and disembodied, near or far.

So, let us pray and be watchful.

Certainly, our daily living in this world brings us many
ocassions to put into practice what we have learned from the
Father in this era.

There are many causes, many motives that deserve our attention,
our care... and our prayer.

"I offer you the world so that you can sow in
it the seed of My lessons. I entrust your
home to you; I show you the lands and the
pathways; the prisons, hospitals, and
orphanages; the places where vice and
wickedness reign. These are propitious fields
for your prayer and your charitable deeds."

"Convert, with your prayer, those beings in
darkness who, like the armies, combat and
struggle while you sleep."

"Pray for all those whom in their obfuscation
kill, steal or in any way, cause pain to the
humankind. Try not to confine your prayer
only to the ones that have granted you with a
good deed, since while meritorious, it is not
as meritorious as when you elevate a petition
for those that in any form have harmed you."

"I wish to teach you to fulfill your duties
with those that rule the world; if you want
their decisions to be favorable and just with
their peoples, you must help them with your
prayer."

"Send, with your tought and your prayer,
consolation to the sad, to the sick, to the
ones that suffer in solitude, to the little
elders, to childhood, to the youth. See that
there are now many more widows and orphans in
your world. Think in the peoples without
peace and in the men without any hope. Some,
because they suffer intensely; others,
because they have sank in the mire of vice,
and others because they do not know the light
of truth, and live as forsaken of love or
because they hunger for justice and peace."

"It is necessary for you to give proof of the
power of the spiritual prayer, similar to
past eras when it was given by those men whom
you remember as patriarchs, as guides and
prophets."

"Without the power of prayer you cannot come
out ahead in the struggle, nor will you be
able to resist the trials, much less will you
be able to teach your brethren the perfect
way to pray."

"Pray for all humankind, without any
distinction for races, nor creeds; pray with
all the faith and love you are capable of. If
you understand it thus, you will be
comprehending my Doctrine and my sacrifice
and interpreting my will. If you do so,
humanity, I shall make this world rise from
its leprosy; I shall also let life surge from
death, I shall achieve fruits of
reconciliation to sprout from hatred and
reason shall surge from madness."
The Third Testament

How delicate is our responsibility, my brothers! How great is
our moral and spiritual commitment with all our brothers,
regardless of race, nationality or creed!

We are the depositaries of magnificent treasures and, what we
shall do with them? Keep them to ourselves at the likeness of
the miserly man? Or we should go, in the wings of tought and
our most pure intention, spreading healing, comfort and good
advice?

All of this we can do either in the quietness of our bedroom or
in the middle of the whirlwind of our everyday struggle for
living; it suffices that a heartbeat of compassion and true
brotherly love, turns into a tought, plentiful of light, which
traveling far beyond our little human pasions, defeats space
and time and reaches a heart, alleviates a pain or keeps
company to a sick one.

Let us be in the likeness of our Divine Master, my brothers,
let us imitate that sweet Rabbi of Galilee, to whom His entire
life was like a prayer.

The Father only asks from us five minutes of prayer every day,
but that prayer must come from the deepest of our being.

Let us persevere in the beneficent prayer, let us be stubborn
and insistent in this and thus, with total devotion, let us
dedicate ourselves to extend the reaching of our love, sending
it to all the needy.

As the spiritual world of light told us some years ago: "Five
minutes for prayer, and a whole life for fulfillment".

By analyzing carefully the previous paragraphs, we can realize
how important prayer can be in order to reduce evil in this
world, especially when we oriented it towards intercession.

Let's us all convert ourselves into intercessors of our beloved
Humankind.

"Do not pray only when you are in the midst
of a painful ordeal: pray too when you are at
peace, for it is then when heart and mind
could take care of others".

"Blessed are those who, through tears, tell
Me: -Master, I offer you my suffering. Your
will be done in me.- My will is that you
possess My peace, O My poor and suffering
people! But forget for a few moments your
afflictions and pray for the world. Pray for
all nations. Love one another!"
The Third Testament

There are so many causes that need the intercession of spirits
of good will!

We shall convert ourserlves into the likeness of our sweet
Mother, Mary, which is the Divine Intercessoress.

But in order to become real intercessors, we must forget about
our own selves.

How much different are the divine teachings when compared with
what this egotistic and materialistic world attempts to teach
us nowadays!

"Who is the one that really follows me? The
one that forgets about himself so he can
think upon others, that's the one that
follows me."

"Control your ego with energy; do not be so
concerned about your name and your person.
Forget about yourselves altogether so as to
think only of the Father and of your
brethren."

"Pray for everyone and your prayer will be
light and peace that will be spreading,
minute by minute, over the face of the
Earth."

"Be watchful over the world, pray for the
weak and the defenseless; be, each one of
you, an apostle of truth."
The Third Testament

Of course that by living up these lessons, we will be attacked
and accused as naives, fools and fanatics; this is nothing new,
since the very same thing happened almost 2000 years ago.

It could be true that you, my brother, after having lived in
another time in the past where great materialism ruled the
world, you end finding a enormous similitude between today's
world with the Rome of those days, when the followers of the
Christ were attacked without mercy, vilified as they took away
not only their freedom but their life also. The very word
"Christian" was used in a deprecatory fashion and it was taken,
in those days, as an insult by many Romans that praised
themselves as loyal subjects of Caesar.

And certainly, the Caesar of today will not be in a better mood
to tolerate us.

See how, for example, the word "spiritualist" is considered, by
the ignorant masses, as a synonim of charlatan, a deceiver or a
medium to communicate with the dead, when its real meaning is
someone that believes in a spiritual doctrine, in opposition to
the person that devotes to the material things.

In other words: What is the antonym of the word "materialist"
if not "spiritualist"?

But things will change, sooner of later, as it happened with
the word "Christian".

We are very fortunate that in this era the mobs will not cry
out for our lives, the Lord has prophesied this; but we will
have to endure moral harassment and incomprehension from this
world so devoted to its greater passion: The worship of the
ego.

We have other objectives, our thought does not focus anymore
only in our own selves, and we have started to understand that
true love could never be confined to one self.

We must persevere in trying to be, each and every day, as
living symbols of Good, figthers for the truth and intercessors
for our weaker brothers, and for this, it is necessary to
forget about our own selves.

This was taught by Jesus, not only with His lips but with His
own life.

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any
[man] will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross, and follow
me."
Matthew 16:24

By the way, this same concept is expressed in three of the
Gospels: Matthew, Mark and Luke, so it is no little stuff, it
is important.

It we do as Jesus the Christ taught us, we will turn ourselves
into true intercessors for our fellow men.

"Pray, be watchful and take the balm to
all the needy; go to them in your prayer and
protect them under your spiritual mantle, for
thus when you were spreading your being in
love, I shall be wrapping the Universe with
my Spirit".
The Third Testament

Let's start by reviewing a few things that probably we haven't
seen in its proper perspective just yet.

We, human beings, pray for different and various reasons;
starting with the little ones praying to the Lord for the toys
they long for, to the elder ones asking for health and strenght
for their golden years, passing through the most diverse
necessities that men and women of all sorts could have, be it
in the spiritual order as well as in the emotional and the
material.

And every reason for praying has a form, be it to ask something
for ourselves or for our fellow men, or be it to worship the
Father or become enraptured in His magnificence.

The Lord has explained to us that, basically, there are four
forms of prayer, and each one of them follows a purpose, an
intention of ours:

"The prayer is petition, intercession,
adoration and contemplation."

"I truly say to you that the first form,
petition, consists in that man pleads to see
his wishes granted, satisfied his yearnings
and all that which he believes to be more
healthier and important for his life; and I
say to you, my children, that the Father
listens to the petitions of all, and gives
each and every one what he needs the most, as
long as it is for his own true good."

"The second form of prayer, intercession,
emanates from the love for your fellow man,
that love that I taught to you when I, as a
Master, came to this world. Plead for your
brothers, both the nearest and the farthest
ones, for those whom in the nations are
suffering the consequences of war, of pest,
of sickness and hunger, for those that are
suffering the tyranny of the temporary rulers
of this world. Prepare, o my children, and
plead for your brothers, but also where at
this intercession you should know how to ask,
since the spirit is more important than the
matter."

"If you have a brother, your parents or your
sons which are sick, plead for them, but do
not insist for them to be kept in this life,
if this is not what the spirit needs. Plead
instead for their spirit to be free, for them
to be purified in their sufferings, for pain
to avail them with the spiritual elevation.
Because of this, the Divine Master has taught
you since the First Era to say: -Father, your
will be done-. Because it is the Father the
one which knows best what the spirit truly
needs, better than any of His children".

"The third form of prayer, the adoration of
the Divine Spirit, signifies the adoration of
all which is perfect, since through this form
of prayer you are able to unite with
perfection, with that love that embraces the
whole Universe. In the adoration you can find
the perfect state which every one of you
shall reach, and by the adoration your will
arrive to the fourth form of prayer:
Contemplation."

"Contemplation, when united with the
adoration, is the one that leads you to the
unification with the Divine Spirit, to the
source of eternal life, to the source that
gives you strenght day by day, so you can
reach the Kingdom of the Father".

"You must practice every day all these forms
of prayer, starting with petition, all
through contemplation. This is what will give
strenght to the spirit, and to the matter
besides".
The Third Testament

There is an old saying: practice makes perfect; and which one
of us does not long to reach that perfection at prayer,
perfection at loving?

Which is the absolute truth?

"No man possesses the absolute truth nor is
it contained in any book. That divine
clarity, the omnipotent power; that infinite
love, the absolute wisdom; that perfect
justice, is in God. He is the only truth.
The Third Testament

It is that simple...

Sure, there are people who are at fight with the word "God"...
apparently, it would seem that these people would not have the
least complaint if that same concept or notion had another word
as a reference: The Being, Supreme Being, Architect of the
Universe, Cause of Causes, etc. At the end we all are talking
about the same being, all love, all perfection; we, the
followers of this Doctrine, prefer to call him Father, as Jesus
used to.

Human science itself has evolved to the degree of having
quantum physicists saying now that everything starts and ends
with something intangible, undefinible and incomprehensible, an
idea that generated everything... absolutely everything. And who
would have guessed? To illustrate their mathematical concepts,
some of them like to refer to it as Alpha and Omega! Just as
John's Book of Revelation or Apocalypse! In the interesting
documentary film "What the Bleep?", various physicists
mathematicians affirm that when you reach the last instance of
the subatomic, you'll only find there the idea... there is no
substance, no matter, no energy, only an idea. And that idea
comes from God (or Being, or Supreme Being, etc.)... and we
know that God, by definition, is love. Man tries to explain
this absolute in vain... it remains to be a futile task to try
to understand the incomprehensible.

"Truly I say to you, that My power, My wisdom
and love surpasses all that the human mind
can ever imagine, for all that is beyond what
you know and what you will ever know."

The absolute truth... Some deny it (in an absolute manner, I
must add), and some affirm, by the contrary, that it does
exist. Those who deny it, put forward that everything is
relative and among those who say that, there are even some who
quote Einstein in support of their asseveration! which probably
would ended surprising and upseting Einstein if he were still
incarnated in this world. Einstein never stated that the
absolute truth did not exist (just one, not many); what he
objected and refused was that time was absolute, as Isaac
Newton had previously assured.

Joking about this matter, Einstein explained: "Put your hand on
a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a
pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S
relativity."

"A thousand years, before Thee, are like
yesterday which was gone or like a vigil in
the night"
Psalms 40:1

And the Father Himself tells us this in this Third Era:

"What are a few centuries of sin and of
tenebrae such as Mankind has had on Earth, if
you compare them with eternity, with a span
of time without end, of evolution and of
peace?"
The Third Testament

The problem for those who state that the absolute truth does
not exist, is found precisely in what they say: They actually
believe in it as an absolute truth! or at least they try to
convince us of it. Here a question arises: If it is the truth
that the absolute truth does not exist, well then, not even
this one? Because if we agree with them, to state that the
absolute truth does not exist turns out to be something
relative! and because of that, that asseveration could be
false.

In other words: It is an absolute truth that there is no
absolute truth?

The contradiction is contained in the very same affirmation.

On the other hand, we know that for certain that in science
there exist absolutes: The notion of space is. And according to
the famous scientist Stephen Hawking, in the number 1 there is
also found an absolute.

Human life is much more than a simple sum of chemical elements
and diverse energies working in multiple ways; all that amazing
machinery that materialists can not fully explain even to
themselves, has a meaning that goes far beyond a simple
functioning.

"What is a matter without the spirit? A whole
of inanimate cells. The spirit is the life of
the matter, but one and the other come from
God.

"It is necessary for you to know the meaning
of this life, so that you may take from it
its essence and reach its harmony, which is
the basis of human perfection, in order for
you to pass on to a superior plane, until you
reach the spiritual life, where I have kept
for you so many lessons that I must show you,
and so many revelations that I still must
give you."

"No matter how pure the life of man on Earth
may be, this planet can never be the eternal
mansion for the spirit. He who so believes,
will have erroneously interpreted My Word, or
is ignoring the true meaning of life."

By comprehending the true meaning of our human life, we will be
able to value it fully for all that it is worth, though always
keeping in mind that its true finality is to prepare us por
something superior: the true life of the spirit.

And once again, brothers, let us live and let us continue on
learning...

And now, let us consider the importance that the material
creation has... What is the purpose for the human life
existence? What is the reason for it? Let us start by looking
at this:

"Life, in the material, is an occasion for man
to earn merits for his spirit merits which will elevate him
until he is worthy of inhabiting a mansion of superior
spirituality, where he must again earn merits in order not to
become stagnant and continue ascending from step to step,
because in the House of the Father there are many mansions."

"Life is a constant lesson for the spirits. The universe, on
being formed under My mandate, had no other mission but to
teach.

"Life is crucible and struggle to the spirit; it is not an
absolute pleasure, as many would wish it so. The enjoyment, the
triumph or the glory, are far beyond every struggle, further
than that crucible. The glory of the spirit, with all its
happiness, is in the perfection of the spirit."

"Understand this truth, so that you will not
overlook this book which, day by day, shows
you new pages of wisdom."

Life taken as a lesson, life taken as a book that shows us new
pages day by day. The one who apreciates life, benefits from
it... let us then benefice, brothers, from this beautiful
lesson that the Father grants us each new day... when we open
our eyes at morning, let us bless the fact of being alive,
enjoying the privilege of having a life through which we can
advance, evolve, perfect... Is human life sometimes bitter?
Yes, it is... and even more in these chaotic times of great
materiality and confusion; but it also offers us delights and
legitimate enjoyments that give us a truce and provides us with
an incentive. And thus we shall carry on, living and learning.

Considering what was mentioned before, it is only logical to
deduce that, before there was life in the matter, there must
have existed the spiritual life.

"Howbeit that [was] not first which is
spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual."
1st Cor. 15:46

Mmm...this would seem conclusive if we were to grant total
authority to this text. But there is a problem.

And the problem is that, Paul himself seems to contradict it!

"According as he hath chosen us in him before
the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before him in
love..."
Eph. 1:4

"Before your creation, you were in the
parental mind of God, and afterwards as a
spiritual creature, you were in that mansion
where everything vibrates in perfect harmony,
where you find the essence of life and the
fountain of the true light, with which I come
to nourish you."

First, there was the spiritual existence; and
first too, were the spirits and afterward the
material Nature.

"Through the teaching of the Master you know
that before the beginning of time, before the
Universe existed, those beings who had
emerged from the bosom of God, surrounded the
Father in the Great Beyond."

"Many of those spirits, dazzled by the
splendours that the Lord placed upon them,
allowed themselves to be dominated by
arrogance and the Lord, on contemplating them
weak and with limited elevation, in His
infinite love for those creatures, created
for them a material Universe where those
children would have the opportunity,
restituting and acknowledging their faults,
to return cleansed to the bosom of God. Thus,
those spirits incarnated on Earth and they
reveled in all the grace and beauty of
material Nature."

How simple the divine teaching, brothers! Illuminating upon
our spirits and minds in resemblance of the Midday Sun,
which does not leave any shadow, the divine word enlightens
everything in a perfect manner.

A lot has been speculated about the beginning of life. Many of
these speculations are usually directed towards to only
consider as life, the one which resembles more closely what we
know in this material world... Naturally, this does not
contemplate the possibility that life, as such, had begun far
before the creation of this material universe... or any other
else.

That Divine inspiration became a reality
under the infinite power of the Divine love,
and thus, life began.

The bosom of God was filled with beings, and
in everyone, the love, the power and the
wisdom of the Father was manifested.

Ah, life! Now we can be sure enough, that that marvelous divine
gift of life, having emerged from God's infinite love, was what
made creation possible. It was because of the divine
inspiration and the force of godly love that the being was
endowed to us, that we came to life, we came to "be". And here
is where the essential question arisess: Who are we?

Nowadays, many people believe that our spirit is an energy,
but, is this true? Are we simply that, an energy, something
like a force as many others we find in nature? Certainly not.
Why do I dare to affirm this? Well, it is not me who says it;
it is the Creator himself who describes His Work:

Each spirit emerged from the Divinity as a
pure thought, that is why the spirits are the
perfect work of the Creator.

How important it is to undesrtand this, my brothers! We are a
perfect work of God! Of course that our spirit utilises energy,
but that does not implies that it IS actually energy, or made
of it... Our spirit is an idea, it is a vibration of the divine
mind. Energy is, to put it simply, a basic tool which the
spirit need in order to perform and to manifest itself in the
material world. It is then when we are able to be aware of it
and begin to comprehend the true magnitude of our spirit.

When a strong ordeal strikes our life, or when we feel
overwhelmed by suffering, we appeal to the Heavens and
elevate the most diverse petitions seeking for the divine
help, and then we wait... sometimes in a trusting manner and
sometimes, in not such a respectful way.

And if, after having waited along for a certain amount of
time, we do not see our petitions fulfilled, we are very
hasty to reproach the Father for His indifference before our
prayers, thinking that He is insensitive, and not only that,
we then try to move him in different ways, believing with it
to be "softening His heart" and trying to awaken His mercy
and compassion.

We just don't realize that this is completely unfair and
that we are the ones that set a limit to the divine power.

Yes, my brothers, this is so. We do limit the reaching of
the divine love, thus alienating ourselves from its wonders.
King David spoke about this in his Psalms:

"How oft did they provoke him in the
wilderness, [and] grieve him in the
desert! Yea, they turned back and
tempted God, and limited the Holy
One of Israel."

"They remembered not his hand, [nor]
the day when he delivered them from
the enemy. How he had wrought his
signs in Egypt, and his wonders in
the field of Zoan"
Psalms:78:40-43

In these few inspired Psalms, David refers to the people of
Israel while at its journey through the desert, that very
same people that even though had witnessed and lived
repeatedly through the portentous extents of the divine
power, in their foolishness and stubbornness and forgetting
all the wonders that the Lord manifested before them, kept
denying in a very persistent and ill-mannered way, all of
what the Lord had granted them.

In resemblance of that Israel of yore, the spiritual Israel
of this time is wondering in the desert again, the desert of
human life, and just as happened before, we keep denying
once and once again the divine power, when pain touches us
or when the ordeal knocks to our doors, and in our despair
and ignorance, we set, unadvertedly, a limit to God. We set
a frontier, a border to the divine love.

In other words: We beesech Him, while at the same time we
build a limit for His action.

And just how is that we set that limit? How is that we
refuse to accept the grace that flows incesantly from the
divine love?

Because our scarce faith and our lack of perseverance.

It is our lack of faith the one that makes us unable to
contemplate how the wonder we have asked for takes place in
our life; our unbelief, our incredulity deceives us and thus
we get to believe the lie that there are things impossible
to God.

The Divine Master explained this to those who surrounded Him
in the Second Era, when they didn't see that they were able
to perform such wonders as those they have witnessed the
Divine Master spread widely at His walk.

"And Jesus said unto them, Because
of your unbelief: for verily I say
unto you, If ye have faith as a
grain of mustard seed, ye shall say
unto this mountain, Remove hence to
yonder place; and it shall remove;
and nothing shall be impossible unto
you."
Mtt:17:20

"...and nothing shall be impossible unto you"... how
encouraging these words are to those who are so needy of the
divine help! And we wonder: Would something exist that is
impossible to God?

Let's take a look on what the angel of the Annunciation
tells Mary:

"For with God nothing shall be
impossible."
Lk:1:37

Once again, it is confirmed that there are no impossibles to
God; this is so, whether it is about the late conception of
a child in life (thing that Abraham and Sarah corroborated)
or it pertains to things that appear to be absolutely
impossible... e.g. the redemption of humanity.

Certainly, the salvation of humanity looks at first glance
as something totally impossible... but, is it?

It may appear as something absurd and utopic for us to even
think that humanity could be saved, but this is because it
is not a human task, it is a divine one, since for God there
are no impossibles. If this salvation depended on us, then
we would be doomed for sure... The Divine Master points to
us that while even there are things that for men are
impossible, they are totally possible for God.

"And he said, The things which
are impossible with men are
possible with God."
Lk:18:27

How we can make then, that what we have asked for, even
those things that we deemed as impossible, get to be
fulfilled? By believing in it, strongly believing in it.

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall
ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive."
Mtt:21:22

"Therefore I say unto you, What
things soever ye desire, when ye
pray, believe that ye receive
[them], and ye shall have [them]."
Mrk:11:24

I humbly ask you, my beloved brothers, to pause at this
point, and reread all the preceding paragraphs in this
section. Consider them carefully, roll them over in your
mind, until you fully grasp its tremendous significance, and
fully make them your own thought, your own deepest belief.
For in those few lines is condensed a statement of wonderful
divine truth, which, if taken advantage of, will transform
you into a living symbol of good, into a living proof of the
divine power. Do not proceed with this reading, until you
have fully grasped the importance of the knowledge just
remembered to you.

REMOVING THOSE LIMITS FROM GOD

We can suppress from our lives and spirits those limits that
we have set to the divine action.

Obviously, as we mentioned before, the first thing to do is
to have faith.

It is enough for us to think in that whatever thing we made
our plea for is possible, since it already exists inside
our spiritual mind, so that from there, it simply goes and
gets manifested in our life, in our world.

James, the Just, explains this:

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him
ask of God, that giveth to all [men]
liberally, and upbraideth not; and
it shall be given him."

"But let him ask in faith, nothing
wavering. For he that wavereth is
like a wave of the sea driven with
the wind and tossed."

"For let not that man think that he
shall receive any thing of the
Lord."

"A double minded man [is] unstable
in all his ways."
James 1:5-8

Perhaps the best explanation yet is found in this small
quote taken from the book "The Message of Mary", an
essential part of The Third Testament:

"Faith is a powerfill force that
accomplishes what is humanly impossible,
realizing what you call a miracle."
THE THIRD TESTAMENT

And then, after faith, we just need to have perseverance in
prayer:

"The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.".
James 5:16

How can we make prayer more efficient? With fervor, with
devotion, with insistence on it.

"Elias was a man subject to like
passions as we are, and he prayed
earnestly that it might not rain:
and it rained not on the earth by
the space of three years and six
months.".

"And he prayed again, and the
heaven gave rain, and the earth
brought forth her fruit."
James 5:17,18

Jesus, the Divine Master, was the one that taught this to
His disciples, as seen here:

"...men ought always to pray, and
not to faint;"
Lk:18:1

Prayer, made in a perseverant and fervent manner, obtains
all which is good that we ask from the Lord. And in the
Third Era, the Father points us again:

"I ask you: Why do you not touch My
Divine Spirit with your clean thoughts,
and with your fervent prayers? You would
obtain everything your spirit and flesh
need."
THE THIRD TESTAMENT

We all know that phrase from the divine teachings that says:

"The leaf of the tree does not move without the will of
God"-

And certainly that's the way it is: neither the leaf in the
tree, nor the rays of the sun, nor the stars in the
firmament nor the waters in the oceans move without the
divine will.

But, alas! men do.

We, spirits endowed with freedom of choice, move, most of
the times, in accordance not with the divine will but with
ours, in direct opposition with what happens with the
elements of nature, who are obedient in every way to the
Creator of all things.

"You say that nothing happens without
the will of God, so as to excuse
yourselves from your errors; but in
truth I say to you, that you are wrong,
because your errors, your slightest
actions, do happen without the will of
God. Behold how the Almighty never
imposes Himself through force upon you
because of His power; you are the ones
that do so with your weaker brethren."
THE THIRD TESTAMENT

How many times have we blamed the divine will for the bitter
fruits that we gather in our life! We put the blame on God
for the suffering and the war, for the misery and for the
unjustice when all of these, have emanated from our own free
will, not from the divine one.

We haven't quite yet understood, that, due to us having
abandoned the path of obedience to the divine will, we have
sketched different and strange pathways and life-styles that
have taken us far away from the road of complying with the
Law, thus calling upon us the pain, the misery, the sickness
and the death.

"The path of trials for your spirit has
been long. You are like the millenary
trees that drop their dry leaves at the
touch of the winds that lash and strip
them, to be covered later with new
leaves."

"That is the way the tree complies with
the will of the father; that is the way
that all of you should comply, allowing
that the trials and lessons that through
life your Father gives you, strip you of
old garments, of impurities and shreds
of the spirit, to emerge covered with
new clothes."

"You must know, disciples, that pain
removes from your heart the bad fruits
and will give you experience, making
your errors turn into positive things."

"Has pain shaken you at one time or
another? Have your branches rustled,
have the dry leaves been blown away, and
have the bad fruits fallen from your
tree? I say to you, that the good that
your spirit has acquired is much more
valuable in comparison with what could
be considered of any value in the
world."

"I point out examples which you see in
nature every day, like in the tree when
it is lashed by a strong wind, because
the material nature is a manifestation
of the divine nature. Therefore, for
everything that surrounds you in this
existence, you will find a lesson or a
revelation for your spirit."

I know, I know! It won't take long before one of my beloved
brothers will send me, in a state of near shock, an email
writing me not to be such a pessimist, and sure, he would be
right.

For even as realistics as we can be and in view of the fact
that we should not close our eyes to the evidence, it is also
true that along with those vibrations of evil there are, and in
much greater extent, the good vibrations.

- In much greater extent? - someone may ask.

- Yep, in much greater extent- I dare to answer.

You see, just as it happens with our domestic electronic radio
receivers, in the same way we are capable to syntonize with a
given radio station, our spirit can "syntonize" with a
determined sort of vibration... or another.

In this way, if we insist in syntonizing only with the few
stations transmitting pure noise, it would look as there are no
stations with good and nice music, even though those are, in
fact, the vast majority.

If we keep doing this, our options will be reduced
dramatically.

So let's widen up, brothers, our options; let's open up our
perceptions to the good vibrations; let us syntonize with the
Good, with the joy and with the health.

Let us quit syntonizing those bad stations that makes us so
much harm, that take away from us our peace, our health and our
family harmony.

How are we going to do this? Our Heavenly Father, wise and
perfect as always, has given us the exact answer:

"At every instant you vibrate mentally and
spiritually, but most of the time you inspire
egotism, hatred, violence, vanity, low
passions; you hurt others and feel when you
are hurt, but you do not love, therefore you
cannot feel when you are loved and with your
insane thoughts you go on saturating with
pain the ambience that surrounds you, filling
your existence with misery."

"And I say to you: Saturate everything with
peace, with harmony, with love; then, you shall
be happy".
The Third Testament

Immense is the power of the vibrations of Good, since all Good
comes from the Father; that power is so big that defeats every
evil that could be surrounding us, attempting to force us into
submission.

And that vibrations of Good could be felt not only spiritually,
but through our material senses as well; what is happening now
is that we have not develop them either, as it suits a full
developed spirit.

"If man had the spirit as his ideal, he would
have refined his senses in such a way that he
would not have ignored anything of what I
have said to you today."

"He would know that the Spirit of God,
because of His essence, communicates in the
Universe with every spirit, and having this
knowledge and being illuminated by his faith,
he would try for the vibrations of My Spirit
to reach him, which are strength, life and
light that animates everything created."
The Third Testament

lurking, which your eyes are unable to
distinguish; those which come from invisible
beings."

"The great legions of disturbed spirits,
taking advantage of the ignorance of
humanity, its insensitivity and its lack of
spiritual vision, make war upon them and men
have not prepared their weapons of love to
defend themselves from their attacks; and, in
the face of that conflict, they appear like
defenseless beings."

"It was necessary for My Spiritual Doctrine
to reach you, in order to teach you how you
should prepare yourselves to be victorious in
that conflict."

"From that invisible realm that throbs and
vibrates in your own world, there are
influences which touch men, be it in their
mind, in their feelings, or in their will,
converting them into submissive servants,
into slaves, into instruments, into victims.
Spiritual manifestations surge everywhere,
and yet, the world continues on without
becoming aware of what surrounds their
spirit."

"It is necessary to engage in that battle;
destroy the darkness, so that when men
receive the light, everyone will rise in
unity, in a true communion, and with prayer,
triumph in that struggle which they undertake
against the forces that have dominated them
for such a long time."

"Men and nations have succumbed under the
power of those influences, without humanity
taking notice. Rare and unknown illnesses,
which have been produced by them, have
depressed men, and have confused the
scientists."
The Third Testament

An old military saying is: "War is nothing more that young men
dying while old men shout at each other"

Wars, diseases, plagues and low passions are inflammed and many
times originated by these forces that vibrate over us
continuously, making us perform and suffer terrible things.

These forces are not perceptible to our material senses, but
out spirit receives their powerful influence directly.

This is, so to speak, the invisible power that governs this
humanity.

And let us pop the question, my brothers: Have there ever been
such thing as a sensible war?

The capacity of deception that this invisible power posess is of
such magnitude, that it even achieve to convice, back in 1914,
a great part of the "civilized" world, that World War I was...
the war to end all wars!!

And they actually bought it! Otherwise intelligent men,
cultured people and even spiritual leaders, bought it!...

This would be almost ridicule, if it wasn't for all the death,
desolation and suffering that many nations had to endure, and
that slogan was nothing more than a huge lie, a monstrous and
tragic lie... and men that were good and decent men, from both
sides, were sent to war to commit all kind of atrocities.

And what about War World II? And what about nations invading
other nations or inflicting pain to innocent bystanders? Many
of these deeds, are made in the name of God... even up to this
day.

It suffices to remember that every one of us, many times, in
unusual and unexpected ways, have been undertaken by strange,
disrtubed and confusing thoughts and sensations, totally
alienated from our will and not produced by our choice, and
nevertheless, we end up accepting them as ours, when they come
from some other origin foreign and completely different from
ours.

However...

We yield before them and thus, we fall into the absurd...

We, humans, that defend our ego so passionately, as strongly as
we defend our personality and our freedom of thougth, we simply
and obediently submit to the dictates of a will which we know
nothing about, and we direct our deeds accordingly to that
disturbed thoughts and feelings that lead us to so many
damaging things: Ugly and unpleasant emotions, confused
sensations and reactions blown out of proportion and that many
times, are in clear contradiction with our own moral principles
and our human upbringing, and such strange bad ideas arrive out
of our control... very bad ideas.

The influence that these forces exert upon mankind is so
strong, that they even have taken control, both in the past and
nowadays, over important decisions of the rulers of this
world... and over the population they rule.
