Let's talk about willIt has become a common saying that "the leaf on the tree does not move without the will of God", and basing ourselves on this, we often use it as a pretext to excuse our errors, making God responsible for whatever happens to us. This is also how heads of state of powerful countries and leaders of religions and creeds of millions of beings on the planet, shield themselves behind divine will to justify atrocities and pain which they leave behind their path. Although it is indeed true that the leaf on a tree does not move without the will of God, it is also true that this refers to the destiny of nature, that in spite of being God's creation that grows, manifests itself, evolves and learns, to the difference of the incarnated spirit in man, it is not gifted with free will that allows it to act on its own account, but it has to obey Divine Laws On the other hand, the human being has been gifted with a power to decide, which allows him to even cause his own misery. Our Father says: "You say that nothing happens without the will of God, so as to excuse yourselves from your errors; but in truth I say to you, that you are wrong, because your errors, your slightest actions, do happen without the will of God. Behold how the Almighty never imposes Himself through force upon you because of His power. That is what you do with your brethren who are weaker". T:248:30 Will is the faculty that rational beings have to govern their acts consciously, and through it, man can make of his world a paradise or an inferno. The day that we accomplish to unite our will with our Father's, all that we have wished for the good of our brethren and ourselves will be granted to us. It is exactly from there that the divine authority emanated from the Divine Master because His will was one and the same as God's. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven". Matthew 7:21 Our world will be a new one when good will exists among us, mutual respect and fraternity; that is the secret to reach peace because upon realizing our Father's will, we will be applying the Law and His Doctrine to our lives. "When will men dream of attaining perfection for their spirit? Today they do not even have peace, because goodwill does not exist among them. The light of Heaven will begin to reflect itself in this world when this good disposition emerges in man by channeling their course along the road of fraternity, of mutual respect, and of love for one another". T 64:25 It is important that we teach our children from their early years to grow making use of good will because this will teach them to be conformed with what our Father gives them. If we cultivate their hearts with examples of love, tomorrow we will hear them speak of the grandeur of the Holy Spirit. That is how the good heads of state and ministers will come to our world, the men of good will that will change the destiny of all people. "Love not the world, the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever". 1 John 2:15-17 I ask myself: Don't you think that all the errors that we have committed due to the bad use of our will have been enough? Don't you think that it is time that we forget about pride and that we finally realize that we can't know more than God as to what is convenient for us? We should truly put into practice that perfect prayer that our Divine Teacher has taught us in the Second Era, upon practicing his example we will then allow "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven".
