The personality cult
"Do not give so much importance to your
personality, shun flattery because they
make the spirit descend. Remember that
you have divinity within you, remember
that you have sprouted from a purest and
perfect Father; and if you were made to
His image and semblance, you must be
pure and perfect as well".
The problem of many human beings is precisely that, they do
not realize who they really are, they have not understood
that within each one of them inhabits a son of God, and for
such reason capable of accomplishing that which may appear to
be impossible; it is because of this lack of understanding
that some men try to make themselves noteworthy through their
material acts, because they have not yet have come to learn
about the reaches of their spiritual faculties.
It is not the material recognition which makes us big before our Father, it is not the titles or assignments, or the reaches of our intelligence, or the social and economic accomplishments which will count in our favor. What will count is our internal light, the development of our spiritual faculties through the aid to our brethren, our watchfulness for the good, and our constant vigilance before the influence of evil. That is what makes us special before the Father, what will have a value for eternity, what will never be lost within the books with accumulated dust or in the memory of the new generations. The matter is only a medium through which we must fulfill with the mission corresponding to each one; it is a test for the spirit and at the same time a new opportunity for restitution and learning. God does not ask us to renounce to the world so that we dedicate ourselves to Him; if such was the case, it would not make any sense that He would have given us a matter, the enjoyment of the senses and so many marvels within nature, in order to allow us to fulfill our mission. What our Father asks of us is that we learn to give our spirit the importance and place that corresponds to it, the same as for our matter, that is to say "give to God what is to God and to Caesar what is to Caesar".
"I do not ask that you dedicate all your
time to Me, because I have entrusted you
with duties and responsibilities on
Earth, but is necessary for you to
understand that the human body which you
love so much, is merely de garment or
outer cover of the spirit; it is matter
where all the passions are awakened".
"You have allowed that body to be filled
with imperfections and temptations that
you mind fabricates when you do not sep
vigil and pray".
"I know that wile you are in this world,
your hart and your senses will vibrate
for that body, but fight against what is
superfluous, vain and frivolous".
"I do not advise you to confine yourself
in cloisters, renouncing the world and
association with your fellowmen, because
your love and service to My Divinity be
misunderstood".
"Do not aspire to be puritans,
forgetting that you are also subject to
comply with the laws of Nature".
"Comply with the laws that the Creator
has given you; some pertain to the
spirit, others to matter; and I only
remind you to renounce the superfluous,
vanity and hypocrisy".
When men do not wish to understand this truth, they start to
convert in missionaries of themselves as a result of the
personality cult, that mask of hipocricy which many want to
cultivate and which provokes an ever increasing fall in the
abyss of hatred, intolerance and selfishness. In the name of
the personality cult many atrocities have been committed and
continue to be committed in our world.
"The cleanliness which I ask of you,
requires you to strip of many things
that you consider as sacred or loved on
the earth, and the first of them is your
personality. Understand that if you
persist in continuing to render cult to
yourselves through the personality cult,
moral as well as physical, it will be
impossible for your fusion with the
Spirit of the Father. The world pushes
you to enlarge your personality and look
at the results in all that surrounds
you: wars, plagues, sickness, injustice,
moral and human misery".
"Ah, in truth if men of this era would
elevate their spirit and thought even
for instants, to enter into
communication with My spirit, you would
see peace flooding the planet, and I
tell you: One day would suffice to end
wars, artificial separations between one
and another, to outcast poverty,
injustice and evil".
"I know that this sounds as impossible
as a fantasy, but all those that have
elevated in spirit, have seen the dawn
of that day, nothing can detain the
arrival of that splendid day break that
I have reserved for all of My children,
your arrival to that goal is inexorable,
nothing and nobody can impede it".
"Do you want to know some of what awaits
everybody? Clean your minds and hearts
of low impulses, of all shameful
feelings, of low passions or selfish and
material ideas, strip even for an
instant of your prejudices, of your
personality and of all those material
things that are so dear to you, and in
truth you will be able to enter softly
and gently in the kingdom in which the
Father awaits you to speak intimately
with you, without intermediaries,
without barriers, without limitations".
"Therefore, when you do charitable deed, do not sound trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. That your charitable did may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly". Matthew 6:2-4The reward for having forgotten about one self, for breaking with the personality cult, has retributions that we can't comprehend yet, but if we start by starting with the simple things, with the ones that do not require much effort, we will be taken important steps towards the path of transition to the truth. Such simple things as the celebration of our birthday, expecting people to be grateful when we do something for them, or expecting retribution for a favor, applause when we accomplish a goal, etc. They are part of those things that feed our ego and cult to the personality, and by being able to break with them, we will be moving forward in the road of spiritual advancement.
"Stop loving your personal self, so that
you will begin loving the others!"
"Do not seek honors for your name. Worry
only that your deeds are faultless and
you will pass on to immortality".
"Truly I say to you, that he who sows
with humility, will leave an eternal
trace along his passage in the world. On
the other hand, he who works within My
Work searching for adulation and the
glory in this world, he will contemplate
that his deeds will soon be erased, and
that his name did not even become known
by the third generation after him".
"No one from those whom I have chosen in
this period should become vain,
believing himself superior to the rest
because of his spiritual gifts, inasmuch
as you cannot be compared with John, the
one whom I said that, being the greatest
among the prophets, was lesser than the
smallest one in the Kingdom of the
Heavens".
"Be gentle and humble of heart, and you
shall always be filled with My grace".
"Learn to be the last so that you are
the first before Me. I want you humble
of heart, simple and virtuous. Do not
let yourself be seduced by false glories
of the earth that only serve to deviate
the spirit from the true path, or to
detain him, making him lose precious
time for his spiritual advancement. Seek
always the place that you can be useful,
preferring it always to the one were you
will be more noticeable".
