Conscience: The Light of God
"The conscience is the light of God, and
that light is fire of love which
consumes all impurity. Behold the fire
in which the spirit blends anew, to
arise again full of light."
"The conscience guides him, and it does
not separate from him during
desperation, or in the loss of
reasoning, or during agony, because it
is intimately bound to the spirit."
"The conscience is the Divine spark; it
is a superior light, and is a strength
to aid man not to sin."
Ah! The wonderful power of the conscience. With it we can
free ourselves of sin, we can really take our will to heights
that otherwise are unreachable to us.
"Who do you think has given the spirit
the illumination of a perfect judge to
pronounce judgement on himself? The
conscience, that at the moment of
justice will seem to you that it shines
with a clarity never seen before."
"And it will be the conscience the one to
say to each one of you what was the
good, the just, reality and the truth
which took place on the Earth, and what
was bad, the false hood and impureness
sown along your path."
One of the most outstanding properties of the conscience is,
that thanks to its inherent perfection, we can know the
absolute truth in the spirit, as well as the reality on
Earth.
Absolute truth? "There is not such thing as the absolute truth!" - someone might utter aloud. After all, this is a very common concept that wise guys always throw to the table in any discussion about truth and reality (which many times are not the same). Well, let me tell you: If someone says that there is not such a thing as the absolute truth, I might then ask her or him back: "Really? Not even this one you are saying?" Catch 22, my brothers and sisters. For if that statement cannot be, by definition, absolute, then the opposite is possible. Humm! Jokes aside, please meditate on the marvelous advantage that has been given to us, in order to make us see or understand the truth about everything, by simply following the dictates of our conscience. And in this world, plenty of deceiving traps and oscure ambushes, this is definitively a plus!
