The literal interpretation of some leads them to believe that there is no way a spirit could reincarnate since man "only dies once". Of course, they havenīt bother to explain why then are not one, but three verses in The Book of Revelation whose writings oposse this assumption:
"He that that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death"
"...were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
"...burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death".
Revelation 2:11/20:14/21:8
And curiously enough, even in the same epistle to the Hebrews we find this:
Women received their dead <--(please note the use of past tense) raised to life again... Hebrews 11:35 see also Was Paul wrong? And just another question: What ever happened to Lazarus? Did he die just once, prior to his resurrection by the Lord as stated in John 11:17-44? Because if man dies only once, then the conspiracy of the priests to make him die again (John 12:9-11) failed miserably and Lazarus must be alive today somewhere -as well as the little girl in Matthew 9:25.
